Runs of Weather Cam: 4

Severe Thunderstorms

Summer in the Southwestern United States is just what you think it is... Or is it? Many people think of it as HOT. It is. They are right. But there is much more. When the sun starts to set, inexorably powerful thunderstorms come over The Valley of The Sun. I will catch it all with my older camera.

WeatherCam

The WeatherCam is a 7 Megapixel Insignia NS-DSC7S09, it has gone through so far, one test run, and one real run. The first run wasn't exciting, but it didn't get ruined. It is protected by a technologically advance box of plastic. The truth is, it actually came in a kit and it supposed to be a basin, but it works! If a thunderstorm comes at the right time, I will catch it! Errr... I mean WeatherCam will catch it!
Run 1
Unfortunately, there is no footage of Run 1, since I had deleted it when supposedly there was another stronger storm coming. What do you think it did? It missed!
Runs 2 and 3
Deleted 3 on accident, 2 intentionally. 3 was goodish. 02/28/2010
Run 4
Cell that produced 2 and 3 that passed over us... I may have gotten something. In this run, towards the end you see a puddle on the casing, and all you hear is rain. No big thunder. No lightning, I don't think. Puddle is interesting. 02/28/2010

Heavy Rain, 30 mph winds, 20 minutes

During another storm we got a brief time of heavy rain. We got .13 inches of rain in 20 minutes... Most in actually about 5! Cool! 03/07/10
